Tom Cary presides over his eponymous rare book/ fine art business, The Cary Collection whose global specialty retail clientele reads like a veritable who's who in the design/ fashion industry: Kate Spade/ J. Crew/ Holland & Holland/ Bergdorf Goodman/ & Polo Ralph Lauren!

Tom has amassed a staggering 15,000+ rare book inventory in such diverse/ 'glam' categories as: Men's & Women's Fashion/ Photography/ Jewellery/ Interior Design/ Architecture/ Gardening/ Cookery & Gentlemen's Sporting Pursuits: Equestrian/ Yachting/ Polo/ Horse Racing/ Golfing/ Racquets/ Angling/ Mixology (Cocktailing)/ James Bond/ & Private Clubs, et al!

On Friday, October 19th and Saturday, October 20th professionals from the fashion industry, libraries, archives, academic institutions, publishers, and museums will gather at LIM College for Fashion: Now & Then, a conference on the past, present, and future uses of fashion information that will consist of lectures and panel discussions.
